A Woman’s Identity

The beasts keep murdering humanity,
Blame the victim’s clothes, poor vanity!
The cowards keep dancing to evil tunes,
Devastating the worldly abode into ruins.

Blame game since ages has been played well,
Innocents were tortured, veiled horrific farewell.
A woman ordained excessively,
Barriers, shackles do bind terribly.

‘Respect’ a word that must be taught,
Through iron rods, a war is to be fought.
The burnt hopes of better world shall rise with higher flames,
We shall strike and strike, to perfect our aims.

The darkness can’t be blamed for choosing the wrong way,
The illumined minds do find the right way.
A lesson, a lesson must be taught, to wild lions not in cage,
Sky shall be touched by our cries of freedom and rage.

A woman is society’s part as men, an equal deserver of respect,
Not a show-piece fit for home to be decked!
But to walk shoulder to shoulder with men,
Underneath her feet paradise lies!
